Nel mondo delle radiotrasmissioni, il termine Ham Radio identifica l’universo dei radioamatori e degli appassionati di comunicazioni radio. All’interno della Fiera dell’Elettronica, l’Area Ham Radio è interamente dedicata a questo settore e ospita una selezione di espositori altamente specializzati. In mostra apparati RTX di ultima generazione, accessori tecnici e le più recenti innovazioni, proposte dai principali marchi internazionali del settore.

AREA VINILE: IL FASCINO SENZA TEMPO CHE UNISCE LE GENERAZIONI

Negli ultimi anni il vinile ha conosciuto una nuova e sorprendente stagione di successo. Dopo essere stato messo in ombra prima dai CD e poi dalla musica digitale, questo storico supporto è tornato protagonista tra appassionati e collezionisti. Il suo fascino risiede nell’unicità del suono, nella dimensione fisica dell’ascolto e nel valore storico degli album, capaci di raccontare epoche e generazioni. Non sorprende quindi che il vinile continui a conquistare anche i più giovani. Alla Fiera dell’Elettronica torna la Fiera del Vinile, una sezione interamente dedicata agli amanti della musica: migliaia di dischi, occasioni per collezionisti alla ricerca delle rarità più ambite e tante proposte anche per chi sta riscoprendo il piacere dell’ascolto analogico.

TECNOLOGIA E STORIA DEL COSTUME NELLA MOSTRA A CURA DELL’AIRE

In occasione della Fiera dell’Elettronica, l’AIRE – Associazione Italiana per la Radio d’Epoca presenta la mostra dal titolo “La radio a transistor”, un evento da non perdere per appassionati e cultori ma anche per chi ama l’evoluzione della tecnologia e la storia del costume. Le prime radio interamente a transistor fanno la loro comparsa sul mercato a metà degli anni Cinquanta. Si trattava di piccole scatolette colorate, ornate con qualche fregio o cornice di metallo lucido, inserite di solito in una custodia di cuoio. Leggere e tascabili, erano un’evoluzione assoluta rispetto agli ingombranti apparecchi a valvole che fino ad allora erano andati per la maggiore. Al loro fianco esistevano anche le radio “portatili” che erano leggermente più grandi, di legno foderato, dotate di antenna telescopica e di batterie a lunga durata. Inizialmente la tecnologia costruttiva transistor era inferiore a quella delle valvole, con i primi al germanio molto sensibili alla temperatura e pertanto soggetti ad una mortalità elevata. Presto, però, con il passaggio alla versione in silicio si è ottenuto un prodotto che ha superato ampiamente le caratteristiche di durata e stabilità delle valvole termoioniche. Il successivo passaggio dai transistor ai circuiti integrati ha confermato e consolidato i vantaggi della tecnologia allo stato solido, che rimane il gold standard anche ai giorni nostri. L’appuntamento, a cura del Marconi Club A.R.I. Loano, si terrà sabato 14 marzo, a partire dalle ore 15.00 nella Sala Scalvini del Centro Fiera Montichiari (primo piano, ingresso centrale).

At the same time, over the three days of the exhibition there will be an extensive program of conferences, seminars and workshops, which will offer visitors an important opportunity for training and professional development. Among the numerous events, the conference on “Mutual aid between municipalities in emergency” is organized by the National Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI), the conference entitled “People at the centre: the socio-health aspects in emergencies” promoted by Croce Rossa Italiana, the conference on “The helicopter rescue resource in the Lombardy Emergency Emergency System” promoted by the Regional Emergency Emergency Agency (AREU) of the Lombardy Region and the AIB round table on the latest “Forest firefighting campaign in Italy”. As part of Fiera dell’Elettronica, the spotlight will turn on ICOM DAY, an appointment organized by Advantec and reserved for all radio enthusiasts, in particular for lovers of the historic Japanese brand. The event will be held on Saturday 11 March, from 10.00 to 12.30, in Sala Pedini (second floor, central entrance) with a parterre of prominent speakers: the company Advantec, importer of the Icom brand since 2017, will present its business , while expert radio amateurs will analyze the technology and peculiarities of unique products of their kind. On the occasion of ICOM DAY, the new IC-905 will be launched for the Italian market, the first multi-band VHF/UHF/SHF transceiver covering 144/430/1200/2400/5600 MHz and 10 GHz multi-mode SSB, CW, RTTY , AM, FM, ATV, including D-STAR.

It is no coincidence that the city of Montichiari is so rich in authentic artistic treasures and always lively in terms of cultural offerings. Our goal is to continue the tradition, exhibiting a quality proposal every year.”

To enrich the 2022 edition, the foyer of the Centro Fiera will host the collateral exhibition entitled “The femme fatale in the Belle Epoque between archetype and female emancipation” curated by Umberto Brusasca.

Harmony with the territory and the ability to innovate are the key ingredients of a history spanning over three decades. A story that is renewed, from edition to edition, thanks to a meticulous selection work that aims to enhance the works of galleries from all over Italy in the best possible way.

The appointment is from 26 November to 4 December 2022 at Centro Fiera Montichiari (BS). The opening hours are as follows: Saturday and Sunday, from 10 to 19; on weekdays, from 15 to 19.

After the extraordinary boom of the spring edition, Gardacon reconfirms itself as an event loved by the public, which for the second time this year has peacefully stormed the pavilions of the Centro Fiera. Comics, games, pop culture: a composite and colorful world that is at the center of an increasingly important economic sector, of which the exhibition organized in Montichiari has been a leading expression for all of Northern Italy since 2019. Not just a fair, but a real festival. Over 20 thousand square meters of exhibition space, where visitors were able to indulge in shopping in full nerd style, attend moments of entertainment and have fun in the many interactive areas.

Gardacon celebrates the past, present and future of the so-called nerd culture: in the retrogaming zone, children and parents were able to travel back in time and have fun with over 100 consoles and 100 cabinets from the 1970s to the early 2000s, while in the Gamers Arena master was the next generation gaming.

Hundreds of cosplayers have colored the pavilions, impersonating the protagonists of comics and TV series, and then go on stage and interpret the most iconic scenes live. In the immense brick area no limits were set for the imagination: in addition to admiring incredible and monumental works of art, children and families were able to play together, becoming expert builders for two days.
The interventions of science communicators and web personalities Adrian Fartade and Barbascura X were very appreciated, but also the new area entirely dedicated to magic and the live shows of Cristina D’Avena and Giorgio Vanni, the most loved voices of entire generations of children who have grown up singing the theme songs of the cartoons, from the Smurfs to Naruto and Dragon Ball.

“Gardacon is a successful format that involves young people and families ”, says Ezio Zorzi, director of Centro Fiera Montichiari. “The autumn edition is added to that of March and confirms how much the public appreciates the Gardacon formula, with two really intense days, full of fun and passion for pop culture”.
